Bio

Davey Lawlor was born in Belfast, Ireland and raised in Brampton, Ontario. At just 19, he began performing full-time in local pubs and recorded his debut album in Toronto in 1996. His talent soon led him to join Alan Frew of Glass Tiger as a rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist, touring Frew’s solo album Wonderland in 2000 and performing across Germany during the 2001 World Hockey Championships.

Over the years, Davey has had the privilege of sharing the stage with iconic Canadian acts including Glass Tiger, Burton Cummings, Randy Bachman, The Tragically Hip, Blue Rodeo, and many more. He also co-wrote “Wae Yer Family,” featured on Glass Tiger’s 31 album.

Davey is currently working on a brand-new solo album with singles set to roll out through the year—co-written with Johnny Reid and Alan Frew—continuing his legacy of heartfelt songwriting and powerful performance.
